Our Background

How We Got Our Start

I’m Nelson Ruiz, the founder of Al Taxi PR. When I returned to Puerto Rico after 20 years of living in Massachusetts, I came back with ideas about how Puerto Rico taxi service could be improved. I had experience driving traditional taxicabs, working with rideshare services, and providing individualized private transportation to tourists and private clients. So I founded Al Taxi PR to combine the best of those types of taxi services in Puerto Rico.

Want to arrange transportation in Puerto Rico, either on the spur of the moment or days in advance? We’ve got you covered. Want to hail a taxi at the San Juan airport? We’re there. Want to arrange a driving tour of San Juan, a taxi to the zipline in Orocovis, or a daytrip to Puerto Rico’s less-touristed areas? We know the island better than anyone. Need to arrange transportation for a group? We’ve got buses that hold up to 50 people.

Wherever you’re going, whatever you want to do, we can be your Puerto Rico taxi, transportation, and tourism company. Give us a call today and see what we can do for you!
